Unified heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua to fight Jarrell Miller in June
Unified heavyweight titleholder Anthony Joshua will take on Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller June 1 at Madison Square Garden, according to ESPN's Dan Rafael.
The match marks Joshua's first fight outside of the United Kingdom and will be his seventh title defense.
"The time has come to head across the Atlantic and defend my heavyweight titles in the USA," he said.
Joshua took to Instagram to confirm the bout.
Joshua is 22-0 and is coming off a seventh-round KO of Alexander Povetkin in September at Wembley Stadium. The 29-year-old currently holds the WBA (Super), IBP, WBO, and IBO titles and is best known for his 11th-round TKO of Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017.
Miller is 23-0-1 and most recently beat Bogdan Dinu by KO in November. He holds impressive victories over Gerald Washington and Mariusz Wach.
The fight will be streamed on DAZN.
