Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set to make his return to boxing, but it won't be as a competitor.
The 43-year-old signed on as one of the judges for an upcoming celebrity boxing event that will raise money for United States military charities and COVID-19 relief, according to TMZ Sports.
The event, tentatively called "Fight for a Cause," will reportedly feature two boxing stars along with other celebrities from the worlds of NBA, mixed martial arts, Hollywood, and comedy. A target date has been set for the end of June at a venue in Las Vegas, according to the report.
Mayweather's last official fight was in August 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor.
