Roy Jones Jr. believes the title of best athlete-rapper belongs to him, not Portland Trail Blazers star Damian "Dame D.O.L.L.A." Lillard.

The former four-division world champion made the claim on a recent episode of the "Club Shay Shay" podcast, telling host Shannon Sharpe, "I think I'm the best athlete-rapper of all-time."

Jones complimented Lillard's rap skills but gave himself the edge due to record sales.

"Dame is good. Dame is really good, but he ain't sold the records I sold yet," Jones said. "So it's one thing to be good, it's another thing to make the songs that people hear and want to hear again."

Jones' debut album, "Round One: The Album," was released in 2002 and featured the hit single "That Was Then," which peaked at No. 57 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart in the United States. The 51-year-old released a second album in 2004 called "Body Head Bangerz: Volume One" with the hip-hop group Body Head Bangerz.

Lillard is no stranger to rap battles, so maybe we'll see some diss tracks exchanged between him and Jones in the future.
