Beterbiev stops Deines in 10th to retain WBC, IBF light heavyweight belts
Artur Beterbiev picked up right where he left off 17 months ago.
Beterbiev successfully defended his WBC and IBF light heavyweight titles with a dominating 10th-round knockout victory over Adam Deines in Moscow on Saturday.
Deines attempted to get up after being knocked down by a vicious left hook, but his corner quickly threw in the towel.

Deines, whose record dropped to 19-3-1, looked overmatched from the opening bell. He was dropped by Beterbiev near the end of the first round and spent the rest of the fight trying to stay on his feet.
Beterbiev, fighting for the first time since October 2019, is now 16-0 for his career. All 16 wins have come via knockout, making him the only current titleholder with a perfect knockout percentage, according to ESPN Ringside.
