Report: Paul-Woodley set for Aug. 29 on Showtime
The boxing match between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley will take place on Aug. 29, a source told ESPN's Mike Coppinger.
A news conference to officially announce the fight is set for Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The fight will be aired as the main event of a Showtime pay-per-view, one day after its card featuring David Benavidez versus Jose Uzcategui, according to boxing journalist Dan Rafael. It's still unclear where it will take place.
Paul-Woodley was first announced in June when the combatants met for a face-off in Miami.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer has won all three of his professional fights via knockout. Paul's most recent triumph was a first-round KO of ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren.
Woodley, 39, will make his professional boxing debut. The former UFC welterweight champion last stepped into the Octagon this past March when he lost via submission to Vicente Luque at UFC 260.
