The WBC heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder has been rescheduled for Oct. 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, it was announced Thursday.

The trilogy bout was initially slated for July 24 in Las Vegas, but it was postponed last week after Fury and multiple members of his camp reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

It was previously reported that Oct. 9 was the new target date for the third bout.

Fury was reportedly experiencing symptoms and couldn't train as of last week. But the heavyweight champion tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday, and doctors cleared him to travel, sources told ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

Fury and Wilder fought to a split draw in December 2018, and then Fury won the rematch by TKO in February 2020. Neither man has stepped into the ring since their second clash.
