McGregor: 'Never say never' about Jake Paul fight
Conor McGregor isn't ruling out a future bout against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
"Who knows? Never say never," McGregor told Donagh Corby of The Mirror on Friday while attending Bellator 275 in Dublin.
The UFC star went on to take a shot at Paul over the low pay-per-view buys for his rematch against Tyron Woodley in December.
"I wasn't actually watching it, no," McGregor said. "It only got a couple of thousand buys. I didn't actually watch it, I saw it online."
McGregor, 33, hasn't fought since breaking his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 last July. He said Friday that he's eyeing a July return.
Paul, who's 5-0 as a pro, has called out McGregor multiple times and recently said he'd be willing to travel to Ireland for a match.
"I want to fight McGregor. I will fight him in a boxing ring in Ireland," the 25-year-old said. "That's partially how this boxing journey started: I made up my mind that I was going to get a fight McGregor and win it."
