Jake Paul eyeing Nate Diaz fight: 'I'll slap the Stockton out of him'
Jake Paul is ready to get into the ring with Nate Diaz now that the MMA fighter has finished his UFC contract.
While speaking to reporters Monday at a press conference for his Oct. 29 match against Anderson Silva, the YouTuber-turned-boxer was asked if there's a fight brewing between him and Diaz.
"A hundred percent. 100%. I'll slap the Stockton out of him," Paul said, referring to Diaz's hometown of Stockton, California.
Paul isn't getting ahead of himself, though, stressing that his priority right now is the Silva fight.
"I have a crazy tough opponent in front of me in Anderson Silva, so that's my main focus right now," he said.
Diaz closed out his UFC contract with a fourth-round submission win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 on Saturday. He indicated after the fight that he plans to make the transition to boxing, but he also left the door open for a return to UFC.
