Tommy Fury to face KSI in Oct. 14 boxing match
Tommy Fury will take on KSI, a YouTuber turned prizefighter, in a boxing match Oct. 14 in Manchester, England, it was announced Sunday.
The fight will be part of a Misfits Boxing event on DAZN pay-per-view. It's unclear whether KSI-Fury will be a pro bout or an exhibition match.
The event will also feature Logan Paul against a yet-to-be-announced opponent.
"Oct. 14, I'm doing what Jake Paul couldn't and beating Tommy Fury on the biggest night in crossover boxing history," KSI tweeted.
Fury and KSI faced off in the ring at a Misfits Boxing event after KSI fought Joe Fournier in May.
Fury is coming off a split-decision win in a high-profile matchup against Jake Paul in February. That was Paul's first career defeat. Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is 9-0 as a professional with four knockouts.
KSI, along with Logan Paul, pioneered the influencer boxing trend. His most recent fight against Fournier was initially ruled a knockout win but was overturned to a no-contest once it was determined KSI hit Fournier with an illegal elbow. KSI holds two wins over Logan Paul and is 3-0 (1 NC) in exhibitions and 1-0 as a pro.
