A second exhibition bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and John Gotti III will take place during Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, Mayweather announced Friday on Instagram.

The exact date and venue will be revealed "in the near future." The 2024 NFL championship game is scheduled for Feb. 11.

Mayweather and Gotti squared off in June. Referee Kenny Bayless called off the fight in the sixth round after the two boxers ignored warnings to stop talking trash.

Gotti went after Mayweather after the bout ended and a melee broke out in the ring.

Mayweather, one of the greatest boxers of his generation, has competed in several exhibitions since retiring from professional competition with a 50-0 record in 2017, the most high-profile of which came against YouTube star Logan Paul in 2021. Mayweather, 46, stepped into the ring three times in 2022 and twice this year.

Gotti, the grandson of infamous mob boss John Gotti, crossed over to boxing in 2022 following a brief career in mixed martial arts. He holds a 2-0 pro boxing record with one knockout.
