WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu has a new opponent for March 30.

Keith Thurman has withdrawn from his bout against Tszyu in Las Vegas after suffering an injury Sunday, officials confirmed to Boxing Scene's Lance Pugmire. In his place, Sebastian Fundora will meet Tszyu for his WBO title and the vacant WBC belt, Premier Boxing Champions announced Monday.

Tszyu-Thurman was scheduled as a non-title fight at a 155-pound catchweight because the WBO declined to sanction the bout.

Thurman suffered a biceps injury in training, according to ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

The fight between Tszyu and Fundora will headline PBC's inaugural pay-per-view event on Prime Video, which also features a co-main event between WBA junior welterweight champion Rolly Romero and Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz.

Fundora was scheduled to face Serhii Bohachuk for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title on the March 30 undercard before stepping in against Tszyu. Brian Mendoza will fight Bohachuk instead of Fundora, a source told boxing insider Dan Rafael.

Thurman, a former unified welterweight champion, was set to end a two-year layoff against Tszyu. Thurman, 35, has fought just once in nearly five years, a unanimous decision win over Mario Barrios in February 2022.

Tszyu was elevated to WBO junior middleweight champion last September and defended it for the first time with a unanimous decision win over Mendoza in October. Tszyu, a 29-year-old from Australia, has emerged as a budding star in recent years and holds an undefeated record of 24-0.

Fundora is a former WBC interim junior middleweight champion. The 26-year-old Florida native is coming off a knockout loss to Mendoza last April, the first defeat of his pro career.
