Paul, Tyson make weight before boxing match
One of the most polarizing matchups in boxing is good to go Friday.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson made weight Thursday before they square off in an eight-round pro fight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paul and Tyson weighed in at 227.2 and 228.4 pounds, respectively.
Here's a look at Paul weighing in as a heavyweight for the first time:
And here's a look at Tyson as he stepped on the scale for his first pro bout in nearly 20 years:
Paul and Tyson were originally scheduled to square off in July, but Tyson was forced out of the bout after suffering an ulcer flare-up.
Paul, the YouTube star turned prizefighter, is seeking his fifth straight victory. The 27-year-old is coming off a sixth-round TKO of former UFC fighter Mike Perry this past summer.
Tyson, the legendary former heavyweight champion, will be stepping into the ring for the first time since a 2020 exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw. The 58-year-old's last pro fight came in 2005.
