Tyson vs. Paul: Which polarizing boxer are bettors backing?

Mike Tyson will step into the ring Friday for his first professional fight since 2005 to square off against Jake Paul, the YouTube star turned boxer.

Tyson is 31 years older than his opponent, the main reason why he's the betting underdog at +175 (36.4% win probability) at theScore Bet/ESPN Bet.

Paul is the -225 favorite. He holds a 10-1 professional record.

The three-decade age gap between the boxers isn't worrying for bettors, though. The action is rather one-sided, with 58-year-old Tyson receiving a whopping 89.3% of the bets and 66.3% of the handle (money wagered).

When the line for the fight opened, Tyson was priced at +150 and was as short as +135 before the fight was postponed due to Tyson's medical scare in May. Concerns surrounding Tyson's health - and potential stamina in the eight-round fight - have lengthened his odds significantly.

Odds for the fight to go the distance are set at +140, meaning there's a roughly 65% chance the fight ends with a KO, TKO, or DQ.

Bettors also like Tyson's chances of knocking out Paul, or they're simply betting with their heart. A substantial 39.5% of the bets and 43.5% of the money wagered on the "method of victory" market are on a Tyson KO or TKO, which has odds of +270.

The highly anticipated fight at AT&T Stadium - home of the Dallas Cowboys - will be aired at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix.
