Jurgen Klopp is reportedly recruiting the fitness coach who helped Bayern Munich win the treble at Borussia Dortmund's expense in 2012-13.
Liverpool is lining up Andreas Kornmayer to become its head of fitness and conditioning next season, as the 41-year-old has accepted Klopp's offer to head the Reds' fitness team, according to Andy Hunter of the Guardian.
Kornmayer worked at Bayern for over a decade, climbing through the German club's ranks before ultimately being promoted to its first-team duties in 2010. He has worked under Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes, and Pep Guardiola, and Klopp is an admirer of his work.
Kornmayer will be replacing Dr. Ryland Morgans, who left Anfield last month after four years with the club.
