Schurrle's agent keen to see client switch Wolfsburg for Dortmund
Andre Schurrle could be on the verge of becoming the latest player to call the Westfalenstadion home this upcoming season.
After Wolfsburg failed to qualify for either European competition, the German international's agent is hopeful his client will be able to complete a transfer to Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund.
"I would very much welcome it if Andre were allowed to embrace the opportunity to play for Dortmund," Ingo Haspel admitted to German outlet Bild, as translated by ESPNFC.
Dortmund will return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign following its second-place finish, while Wolfsburg's 45 points were only good enough to see the team finish eighth and miss out on Europe for the first time in three seasons.
The 25-year-old is expected to cost Dortmund roughly €30 million if Wolfsburg agrees to sell.
Schurrle, who joined Wolfsburg from Chelsea on a permanent deal for €32 million in Jan. 2015, scored nine goals in 29 league appearances last term.
