Watch: Leipzig's Forsberg sees red after horror tackle on Lahm
Emil Forsberg's cold-blooded tackle on Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm earned the RB Leipzig midfielder a red card Wednesday - and the dangerous challenge will likely result in a lengthy ban.
Forsberg slid in behind Lahm as he launched a counter-attack the other way and clipped the 33-year-old's Achilles with his cleats.
Referee Felix Zwayer immediately produced a yellow card, but after consultation with his linesman, changed its colour.

Forsberg's dismissal all but ended Wednesday's contest, a top-of-the-table clash between an unlikely contender and the defending champion. Both Leipzig and Bayern came into the match level on 36 points, but goals from Thiago Alcantara, Xabi Alonso, and Robert Lewandowski gave the home side an easy 3-0 victory to create a three-point gap at the Bundesliga summit.
