Dortmund dismisses report linking Aubameyang with China transfer
Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won't break any transfer records in the near future, according to club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The Gabon international - currently on international duty ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations - has been linked with a move to China Super League side Shanghai SIPG for a world-record €150-million transfer fee and an annual salary of €41 million. The Bundesliga outfit, however, was quick to dismiss the reports.

"I am not interested in hypothetical things," Watzke told German outlet Bild, as translated by Stephan Uersfeld of ESPN FC, when asked if the club would consider an offer for Aubameyang.
Shanghai SIPG has negotiated high-profile transfers to move the likes of Brazil's Oscar and Hulk to the Chinese Super League from their European teams at a premium cost.

Dortmund media director Sascha Fligge also denied the club has received an offer in a statement issued to various German news outlets.

Aubameyang, 27, leads the Bundesliga in scoring with 16 goals, which brings his total since joining Dortmund in 2013 from Saint-Etienne to 100 in all competitions.
