Watch: Lewandowski shows off perfect control to score 91st-minute winner
Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski signaled the end of the winter Bundesliga break in dramatic fashion, scoring a pair of goals in a 2-1 win over SC Freiburg Friday, the second of which came courtesy of a 91st-minute goal scored with a touch of inspired skill.
Faced with the prospect of splitting the points against their eighth-placed opposition, the Polish attacker demonstrated two touches to control a cross that left Freiburg's defenders in awe.
First, the chested control, setting the ball down and reducing its pace; second, the light tap of his right boot against the ball, setting up his final masterstroke, a left-footed shot into the bottom corner, a game-winner as fine as any.
His first goal was also worthy of note, but for a different reason:
60 - @lewy_official scored his 60th #bundesliga goal for @FCBayern in his 80th game - faster than any other player for a club. Record.
