Bruno Henrique is set to return to his homeland.
On Monday, VfL Wolfsburg announced that Bruno Henrique is on the verge of completing a move to Santos, pending a medical examination. The two parties have reached an agreement on the transfer.
Henrique joined Wolfsburg from Goias Esporte Club just under one year ago after tallying seven goals and ten assists in the 2015 Brasileirao. However, he'll be leaving Germany with only 14 Bundesliga appearances to his name and zero goals.
At Santos, Henrique will have the chance to take the pitch in the 2017 Copa Libertadores, as the Peixe are in Group 2 alongside Santa Fe, Sporting Cristal, and one yet-to-be-determined club.
