Bundesliga club FC Koln announced Friday that "three people" have been placed into 14-day quarantine at home after testing positive for COVID-19.
The club stated that all of its players, coaching staff, and backroom staff were tested on Thursday. All three people who tested positive have shown no symptoms.
"FC Koln will not confirm any names out of respect for the privacy of those affected," the statement added.
Following the positive results, the team's training will continue as scheduled "according to the hygiene and infection control measures that have been in place since April 6 in group training."
German clubs returned to training in early April despite uncertainty over the restart of the season, which has been suspended since March 13.
On Thursday, an announcement over when the Bundesliga term will resume was pushed back after the German government delayed its decision on the matter. It was initially thought the league could restart on May 9.
