Report: Manchester United eyeing move for Kingsley Coman
Kingsley Coman is emerging as a summer transfer target for Manchester United, according to The Athletic's Andy Mitten.
Signing Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho reportedly remains a priority for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer while he looks to boost his complement of wide forwards at Old Trafford. But United have also regularly scouted Bayern Munich's Coman, who is apparently keen to move to the club.
The Red Devils have reportedly discussed bringing Coman aboard on either a permanent deal or a loan.
Coman is understood to be interested in linking up with compatriots Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial at United, along with the club's young French prospects such as Hannibal Mejbri and Aliou Traore.
The 24-year-old winger has won a domestic league title in each of his past eight seasons across stints with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. He made 24 Bundesliga outings during the 2019-20 campaign and appeared in each of Bayern's nine matches since the restart, but the recent signing of Leroy Sane from Manchester City could result in slashed minutes for Coman at Der FCB next term.
