U.S. international Johnson out with broken hand
Sinsheim, Germany - Hoffenheim full back Fabian Johnson is set for a spell out of action after undergoing surgery to repair a broken hand.
The United States international sustained the injury in his team's 4-0 defeat at Nurnberg on Saturday and has since had an operation to repair the problem.
Hoffenheim failed to give a timetable for Johnson's return with the club only saying that he will be out of action "until further notice."
The 26-year-old has appeared in 13 Bundesliga games this season for Hoffenheim, which sits two points above the relegation places.
