VIDEO: Marco Reus suffers injury in return to national-team duty
Marco Reus missed Germany's victorious World Cup run due to torn ligaments in his left ankle, and his return to duty for the national program is off to an ominous start.
Borussia Dortmund and fans of the national team are surely worried after Reus left Sunday's match against Scotland, suffering what appears to be another left leg injury:
The hope, obviously, is this latest incident is only a minor setback. The fact the 25-year-old sniper was able to walk off the pitch of his own accord is a good sign.
Borussia Dortmund begin their Champions League schedule on Sept. 16, with another game on Sept. 27, and they'll need Reus - who has two goals through two games in the Bundesliga season - in top form.
