It didn't take long for Shinji Kagawa to prove his doubters in Manchester wrong after the Japanese international found the score sheet 41 minutes into his return to Germany.
Thanks to a beautiful dummy from Henrik Mkhitaryan, Kagawa found himself alone in the Freiburg box and neatly tucked the ball into the near post to double Borussia Dortmund's lead. He also set up the team's first goal on his second debut with Dortmund.
The Dortmund social team were obviously ecstatic about the goal:

The goal should be a huge confidence booster for Kagawa after two dreadful seasons with Manchester United.
