After 474 minutes of playing in the Bundesliga, Xabi Alonso notched his first competitive goal for Bayern Munich as the reigning Bundesliga champions thrashed Werder Bremen 6-0 on Saturday.
Bayern were awarded a free kick just outside the box in the first half, and following some trickery from David Alaba and Thomas Muller that appeared to confuse opposing defenders, Alonso stepped up to sneakily slot his shot beneath Bremen's wall.
It's also worth noting that Alonso was seemingly everywhere on the pitch throughout the match.
During his 61 mins, Xabi Alonso completed 103 passes for Bayern; more than the whole Werder Bremen side combined (83) pic.twitter.com/A36StCnVoj
