PHOTO: Ivan Perisic en route to Italy ahead of move to Inter

Barring some unforeseen, 11th-hour change of heart, Ivan Perisic will be playing for Inter Milan this season.

The Croatian winger, 26, has been linked with a move away from Wolfsburg for much of the summer, with the Italian club long rumoured to be his main suitor. After being held out of the squad for the Wolves' 3-0 victory over Schalke on Friday, Perisic posted an Instagram photo of himself flying to Milan to complete the transfer on Saturday.

While the move isn't likely to be finalised prior to Inter's match against newly promoted club Carpi on Sunday, the versatile attacker will almost surely be in the squad for the derby against bitter city rivals AC Milan on Sept. 13.
