Report: Borussia Dortmund's Kevin Grosskreutz close to joining Galatasaray

Galatasaray appears to be edging close to an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Kevin Grosskreutz.

The transfer, reported by The Guardian's Marcus Christenson, will be completed after the German international completes a medical in Istanbul on Monday.

His possible move to Turkey will bring an end to his five-year career with Dortmund, where he helped the Bundesliga side win two consecutive league titles.

Grosskreutz's solid play at the back, coupled with his ability to play in the midfield, has also earned the 27-year-old five call-ups to the German national team.
