In the midst of Europe's deepening migration crisis, many of the Bundesliga's clubs have done what they can to help those in need.

Banners reading "Refugees Welcome" have been spotted at a number of German stadiums, asylum seekers have been invited to attend fixtures, and Bayern Munich announced Thursday a pledge to donate €1 million from a friendly match to refugee support projects.

The aid, however, isn't limited to clubs, as players have also been doing their part.

Javi Martinez, for example, was seen at the main train station in Munich on Friday welcoming refugees with soccer balls.

The Polizei Munchen noted Martinez's kindness, taking to Twitter to thank him for his efforts.
