The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released defensive end Eric Norwood, according to Matthew Scianitti of TSN.
Norwood went down in November with a season-ending knee injury and was made expendable when Hamilton signed pass-rusher John Chick in the offseason.
The 27-year-old compiled 24 sacks in three seasons with the Tiger-Cats.
