The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have traded quarterback Jake Waters to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for a negotiation list player.
Waters signed with Hamilton back in April after attending NFL training camp with the Seattle Seahawks last August.
In his first CFL season, the 6-foot-1, 210 pound signal-caller dressed in all three games but did not see any playing time.
Prior to playing pro, Waters attended Kansas State, throwing for 5,970 yards and 40 touchdowns, while also recording 15 rushing touchdowns in 26 games.
