The Saskatchewan Roughriders added a big piece to their roster, announcing the signing of 2016 Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Derek Dennis.
Dennis played all 18 games with Calgary last season, lining up at left tackle as well as both guard spots.
After appearing in five games as a rookie in 2015, Dennis had a coming out party in 2016, helping lead a unit that allowed the fewest sacks while leading the league in scoring and paving the way for Jerome Messam, who led the CFL in rushing.
Dennis joins a team that finished last in scoring offence, second-last in rushing offence and sacks allowed, and third-last in passing offence.
