Report: Argonauts sign former All-Star LB Winston Venable

The Toronto Argonauts made a big splash on the defensive side of the ball during the first day of free agency, agreeing to terms with linebacker Winston Venable, according to Gary Lawless of TSN.
The four-year CFL veteran joins from the Montreal Alouettes with 242 tackles and 12 sacks as well as being named a CFL All-Star in 2015.
Venable comes off a 2016 campaign in which he set a career high in sacks with seven, along with 88 tackles.
