Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli left Friday's game versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with what appeared to be a significant leg injury during the first quarter. He did not return.

The All-Star will undergo "further imaging" on his knee on Saturday, head coach Orlondo Steinauer said after the game, according to TSN's Matthew Scianitti.

Masoli's left knee appeared to buckle as he dropped back to avoid pressure. The quarterback left the field under his own power and was taken to the locker room to have his leg examined shortly thereafter. He returned to the sideline in street clothes with a brace on his knee.

The 30-year-old completed six of seven pass attempts for 59 yards and contributed 23 yards and a touchdown on the ground before exiting.

Backup pivot Dane Evans took over for Masoli and directed the Ticats to a 23-15 win.
