BC Lions quarterback Mike Reilly will miss the remainder of this season after undergoing surgery Sunday on a fractured left wrist, the team announced Tuesday.
Reilly sustained the ailment in the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Edmonton Eskimos. He had a small plate inserted into his wrist with six screws and is expected to be out of action for six-to-eight weeks.
The 5-11 Lions have already been eliminated from playoff contention. They have just two games remaining on their regular-season schedule.
