BC Lions quarterback Jordan Rodgers has informed the team that he will be retiring and not attending training camp.

Jordan - the brother of two-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers - spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins before going to the Lions.

The Lions announced that they signed quarterback Grant Hedrick to take his place. The Lions also acquired three international players, signing offensive linemen Jason Foster and Josh Aladenoye, as well as kicker Anthony Fera.

Lions training camp begins Monday.
