Jonathon Jennings threw three touchdowns as the B.C. Lions earned a convincing 40-13 win over the visiting Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday.

The win put an end to the Lions two-game losing streak, moving them to 6-10 on the season. They remain in sole possession of third place in the West Division.

Jennings finished the night 23-of-33 for 247 yards, countering his one interception with the three touchdown passes.

Running back Andrew Harris amassed 119 yards on the ground, adding two scores of his own in the second half.

It was a complete effort from the Lions, as their defense forced four turnovers, including two interceptions from veteran defensive back Ryan Phillips.

Next up for the Lions is a Week 19 battle with the Toronto Argonauts on Friday, while the Tiger-Cats head back home where they will welcome the Ottawa RedBlacks on Sunday.
