Former Toronto Argonauts slotback and kick returner Chad Owens has signed a one-year deal with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, according to multiple reports.
The dynamic playmaker was one of the biggest names on the free-agent market this offseason and opting to join the arch-rival Tiger-Cats has already opened the eyes of some of his new teammates.

The Argos' acquired Owens in 2010 and he went on to become a fan favorite and the biggest threat on Toronto's offense.
Owens' best season in Toronto came in 2012, when he set the all-time record for all-purpose yards in a season and was named CFL Most Outstanding Player. He capped his historic 2012 campaign by winning the 100th Grey Cup.
The four-time all-star has racked up 446 receptions for 5,174 yards and 20 touchdowns over his career.
