Wolfsburg sprung out to a shocking 2-0 lead in the first half-hour of its Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Ricardo Rodriguez converted an early penalty before Maximilian Arnold finished off a well-worked passing play to stun the visitor at Volkswagen Arena.

Arnold's strike is his first in the Champions League this season, and it may just have given Wolfsburg hope that it can pull off something special.
