Real Madrid received as warm a reception as could be imagined ahead of the team's Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City on Wednesday, with thousands of fans packing the streets to welcome the team to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Holding a 0-0 result from the first leg in the Etihad Stadium, Real Madrid needs to outright win in order to avoid being knocked out by the away-goals rule. With Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the starting XI, Madridistas are evidently feeling confident that a berth in the final - and a rematch with Atletico Madrid - can be attained.
