Watch: Vazquez equalises Super Cup with timely half-volley

Franco Vazquez opened his Sevilla scoring account Tuesday, timing a perfect half-volley to cancel out Real Madrid's go-ahead goal in the UEFA Super Cup.

Vazquez got his first goal just 41 minutes into his debut. Profiting off Vitolo's dribbling skills, the Italy international found a lane in which to shoot.

The 27-year-old only joined the Andalusian outfit in July after spending the past few years in Italy with Palermo.

He was one of Jorge Sampaoli's first acquisitions in a transformative summer for Sevilla.
