The Germany international was forced to miss Bundesliga fixtures against Augsburg, Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund after undergoing a minor foot operation March 30.
Neuer, who suffered the foot injury while on international duty, returned to training Monday and is expected to take over for Sven Ulreich, who had deputised in goal during the 31-year-old's absence.
