Istanbul to host 2020 Champions League final
The Champions League final will be returning to Istanbul, Turkey, a city Liverpool fans remember fondly due to the Premier League team's famous victory in the deciding match more than a decade ago.
Just days before Liverpool's return to the final, UEFA announced that the Ataturk Olympic Stadium will once again host club football's biggest match in 2020.

The Ataturk Olympic Stadium is the home of the Turkish national team, and is one of the main venues included in the country's bid to host the 2024 European Championship.
It was the site of one of the most miraculous comebacks in Champions League history, as Liverpool, which will take on Real Madrid on Saturday, stunned the 76,000 in attendance in 2005 by overturning a 3-0 deficit against AC Milan to win its fifth European title in an intense penalty shootout.
UEFA also announced that the 2020 Europa League final will take place in Gdansk, Poland, at the 76,000-capacity Stadion Energa Gdansk.
