PSG's Cavani could miss United match, Meunier out with concussion
Paris Saint-Germain could be without Edinson Cavani for Tuesday's Champions League round of 16 first leg against Manchester United, as the club announced the striker has suffered a lesion to a tendon in his right hip.
His recovery will be monitored over the coming days.
The reigning champions have confirmed, however, that Belgian full-back Thomas Meunier will miss the European encounter after he was diagnosed with a concussion.
Cavani appeared to injure himself after scoring a penalty in PSG's win over Bordeaux on Saturday. Following the first-half goal, he gestured to the team's bench for a substitution. He was then replaced at halftime by Kylian Mbappe.

Although PSG didn't officially rule Cavani out for the tie, manager Thomas Tuchel admitted earlier Sunday it would be "difficult" for him to make the trip to Old Trafford.
"There is a very small hope," Tuchel said. "We always hope but the first exams are not good."
Meunier's concussion seems to have stemmed from an incident involving Bordeaux winger Francois Kamano in the 65th minute. While attempting to challenge for a ball in the air, Meunier ran directly into Kamano's shoulder and collapsed, hitting his head on the ground in the process. He stayed in the match after immediately receiving treatment but was ultimately replaced in the 80th minute by Colin Dagba.
PSG are already without star winger Neymar. The Brazilian is expected to miss both legs after injuring the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in a Coupe de France match in January.
