The gamble to start Jerome Boateng in the Champions League final backfired for Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick.
Boateng was forced to leave Sunday's game against Paris Saint-Germain due to an apparent leg injury.
The German international suffered the knock in the first half and had to be helped off the pitch by two trainers.
Niklas Sule was brought on to replace Boateng in the 25th minute with the scored tied 0-0 at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.
