Watch: Nkunku helps Leipzig hand Real Madrid 1st loss of season
Real Madrid's unbeaten record in all competitions is over.
The Champions League titleholders couldn't dig their way out of their halftime hole of Tuesday's Group F contest, falling to RB Leipzig 3-2 in Germany.
Josko Gvardiol gave Leipzig the surprise lead in the 13th minute before Christopher Nkunku showed why Europe's top teams may be lining up to sign him next summer by doubling the advantage five minutes later with a slick strike off the underside of the crossbar.

Vinicius Junior scored minutes before halftime to cut Real Madrid's deficit in half.
Timo Werner came on as a substitute in the second half to cushion RB Leipzig's lead with a goal in the 81st minute. The goal proved important, as Rodrygo converted a penalty in injury time to make it 3-2.
However, RB Leipzig will have to wait until the final matchday of the group stage to qualify for the Champions League knockout rounds. Leipzig sit second in Group F with nine points - three more than third-place Shakhtar Donetsk.
Group leader Real Madrid qualified for the round of 16 last week.
