Carlos Tevez doubtful for Galatasaray game
Juventus striker Carlos Tevez may not play versus Galatasaray on Tuesday after picking up an ankle injury on the weekend.
Tevez sustained the injury in the first half of Sunday's 1-0 win over Torino after a hard challenge by Ciro Immobile.
The club released a statement, via Fox Soccer:
"Carlos Tevez sustained a lacerated and contused wound on his right ankle.
"The striker's condition will continue to be assessed over the coming hours, but he remains a serious doubt for Wednesday night's Champions League game against Galatasaray."
Tevez is tied for the team lead in scoring with the three goals this season. The Argentina international was not pleased with Immobile's tackle.
