Real Madrid to wear pink kits vs. Schalke following UEFA order

Reuters

Brace your eyes.

Real Madrid will wear their fluorescent pink kits in Wednesday's match against Schalke, as UEFA has told the club they cannot wear their classic white uniform nor can they don their preferred away look, Marca reports.

With Schalke's kit consisting of a dark blue shirt and white shorts, the Spanish side cannot wear their home outfit because of a clash with the shorts, and UEFA does not want both teams wearing dark tops, which rules out the black away uniform.

Yes, that means we don't get to see the now famous dragon shirt designed by Japanese fashion icon Yohji Yamamoto. Another time, hopefully.

Cristiano Ronaldo and company will have to accept the governing body's request to have them look pretty in pink at the Veltins-Arena.
