Bayern Munich's Lewandowski to start vs. Barcelona
Reuters
Bayern Munich will have its biggest attacking threat available Wednesday against Barcelona after Robert Lewandowski was included in Pep Guardiola's starting unit.
The Polish striker will anchor the Bayern attack for the first time since suffering a broken nose and jaw during his team's German Cup loss to Borussia Dortmund at the end of April.
Lewandowski's inclusion will be a major boost for a Bayern squad riddled with injuries.
Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben and David Alaba headline a star-studded group of player unavailable through injury, but the German club continue to possess a wealth of talent that will be expected to put up a fight against a strong Barca side.
