Bayern Munich's optimism didn't last 10 minutes before Barcelona regained its three-goal advantage over the Bundesliga champs.

Bayern will be forced to score another four goals following their opener after Neymar buried his effort with a simple tap-in to silence the Allianz Arena.

It was Barcelona's lethal triumvirate that took the air out of the stadium as Lionel Messi's slick pass to send Luis Suarez into the box saw the Uruguayan slide the ball over to Neymar for the easy finish past a sprawling Manuel Neuer.

Neuer immediately looked over to the linesman, hoping for an offside call that never came.
