Sevilla got off to the most ideal of starts at Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup.
In the annual fixture between last season's Champions League winner and last season's Europa League winner, Unai Emery's side was awarded a free-kick just outside Barcelona's penalty area after Javier Mascherano brought down Jose Antonio Reyes.
Ever Banega stepped up to hand Sevilla an early 1-0 lead:
Banega accomplished something that hadn't been done since Luis Enrique took over as the Catalan club's manager last year.
